INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION/REHABILITATION OF SOME SELECTED ROADS IN EKITI STATE
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
(1.1) Government of Ekiti State (EKSG) through the Ministry of Works and Transportation is desirous of implementing its capital project in the year 2022 Approved Budget which is fully funded by the State Government.
(1.2) Further to this, and in compliance with the Ekiti State Public Procurement (Re- Enactment) Law No. 4 of 2020 wishes to invite interested registered, competent and reputed contractors to submit bids for construction/rehabilitation of some selected roads in the State.
(2.0) SCOPE OF WORKS
(2.1) PROJECT I: Rehabilitation of Ado-Ekiti Township Roads:

| Lot 2 | Agric Olope—Moferere, Agric Olope—Odo – Ado Road; |
| Lot 3 | G.R.A. Area III Extension, behind NTA Ado-Ekiti |
| Lot 4 | Atlas Road-Deeper Life-Omisanjana Road; |
| Lot 5 | A section of Bamidele Olumilua University Road |
| Lot 6 | Igirigiri – Local Government Road. |
(2.2) PROJECT II: RE-CONSTRUCTION/REHABILITATION OF EXISTING STATE ROADS
Lot 7 Ikere—llawe Road; Lot 8 Itapa—Omu-ljelu Road; Lot 9 Awo—Ara – Ijero Road: Lot 10 Temidire—Ayegunle—lloro Road Lot 11 Ifaki-Esure-Awo Road
(3.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
(3.1) Evidence of registration with Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement valid till Saturday, 31st December, 2022. Visit https://portal.bpp.ekitistate.gov.ng for requirements and online registration.
(3.2) Contractors submitting Tenders must be duly registered with the Ekiti State Registration Board of the Ministry of Works and Transportation (MWT), Ado-Ekiti.
(4.0) COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested companies are to register on https://eprocurement.ekitistate.gov.ng to access relevant documents for this bid on the payment of non-refundable tender fees payable to Head 402 Sub-Head 101 of the Ministry of Works and Transportation as may be indicated on the notice board of the Ministry.
(5.0) SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Prospective bidders are to submit both technical and financial bids for the project via
https://e-procurement.ekitistate.gov.ng not later than Tuesday, 1 February, 2022.
(6.0) OPENING OF BIDS
The bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission by noon on Tuesday 1 February, 2022. Only participating bidders shall be provided a link to the Virtual Bid Opening Session. (7.0) GENERAL INFORMATION
(7.1) Bids must he in English Language and signed oil by an official authorised by the bidder;
(7.2) Women-owned and Women-led Businesses are advised to apply as part of EKSG’s commitment to create a diverse and inclusive portfolio of vendors.
(7.3) Prospective bidders are invited to note that in line with the affirmative policy of the Government of Ekiti Stale, qualified Women-owned and Women-led vendors shall be strongly considered.
(7.4) All costs will be borne by the bidders;
(7.5) The Ministry of Works and Transportation is not bound to invite any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of the Ekiti State Public Procurement (Re-enactment) Law No 4 of 2020.
