INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STEEL PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED MARKETS IN GASHUA, NGURU AND POTISKUM TOWNS OF THE STATE.

Yobe State Ministry of Works in compliance with the provision of Yobe State Bureau of Public Procurement (YSBPP) Act 2016, hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bldders/vendors with relevant experience in construction to tender for:

CONSTRUCTION OF STEEL PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED MARKETS IN GASHUA, NGURU AND POTISKUM TOWNS OF YOBE STATE.

(1) Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement’s Guidelines (Procurement of Goods, Works and related Services)  and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

(2) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Director Planning Research & Statistics and collect bidding documents during office hours (0900 to 1500 hours) at Yobe State Ministry of Works, Damaturu and bidders/vendors must satisfy major requirements in addition to those contained in the Standard Bidding Document:

  • Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nig.
  • Evidence of Company Registration with Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement;
  • Evidence of current VAT registration /3-Years Tax Clearance Cert (TCC) and evidence of Up-to-date remittance
  • Evidence of current PENCOM, ITF, NSITF compliance Certificates;
  • Audited statement of Accounts for the last three (3) years duly prepared and endorsed by a firm of chartered accountants.
  • Detailed company’s profile and Technical Qualifications of Key Personnel with experiences on similar jobs;
  • General construction experience of similar project executed including relevant award letters/completion certificates;
  • Evidence of Financial Capabilities from a reputable bank:

(3) A Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders/vendors upon payment of non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira Only (N50,000.00).

(4) Bids must be delivered to Yobe State Ministry of Works, Abdulsalam Abubakar Way, Damaturu. Yobe State on or before 20 January, 2022. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidder’s designated representatives at the above-mentioned address by 12:00 noon.
