INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF UTILITIES/POWER EQUIPMENT FACILITIES AND EXECUTION OF CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS UNDER THE 2022 CAPITAL APPROPRIATION

(1) PREAMBLE
The Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited (ASCL), a Federal Government wholly owned enterprise under the Ministry of Mines & Steel Development was established by Decree No 60 of 1979. The Company intends to execute the approved Capital Protects (including Constituency) in the 2022 National Budget and hereby invites reputable and competent interested Companies to tender for any of the Prefects listed below:-

(3) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for consideration, interested companies with experience in similar jobs are required to submit the document listed hereunder alongside their tender document. This document MUST be verifiable, failure to submit any of the listed documents MAY lead to disqualification of the Tender.

(a) Evidence of certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC2 and CAC7

(b) Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurement’s National Database of contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Internal Registration Report (IRR) issued by the BPP and expiring May, 2022.

(c) Evidence of Current Tax Clearance certificate for the last three (3) years, (2019, 2020 & 2021), Tax Identification Number (TIN) and evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance.

(d) Evidence or Audited Account for the past three (3) years (2019 – 2021)

(e) Evidence of Current Compliance with the industrial Training Fund (ITF) registration valid till 31 December, 2022.

(f) Evidence of Registration with proof of remittance to the Pension Commission (PENCOM) valid till 31 December, 2022.

(g) Evidence of Certificate of compliance with contribution to Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) valid tilt 31^st December, 2022.

(h) Company Profile and Organizations Structure, including names and resume of key personnel with address and phone numbers as well as Evidence of both the Company and key personnel with relevant Professional bodies.

(i) Verifiable list of previous/similar project successfully executed in the past five (5) years with their locations and clients. (Copies of Completion Certificates Final Payment Certificate should be attached).

(j) Evidence of financial capability/reference letter from a reputable Bank.

(k) Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited (ASCL) or the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidders or to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars

(4) COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Bid documents are to be collected from the office of the Head (Commerce) Boom 310 on the 3rd Floor of Main Administration and Welfare Building (MAWB) Steel Plant Site, Ajaokuta upon payment of non-refundable processing/tender fees as prescribed by each Lot in the table above from Wednesday 20 April, 2022 through Account:

A photocopy of payment should be attached to the Tender Document.

(5) SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
All prospective tenders shall enclose the Technical Bid in separate envelope and the Financial Bid in another separate envelope and the two (2) separate envelope shall be enclosed in one sealed outer envelope clearly marked (“INVITATION TO TENDED Lot No—…”) sets which should not in any way bear the identity of the bidder and should be addressed to:

The Completed and sealed Tender document should be deposited in the Tender Box in the office of the Head (Commerce) not later than 12noon on Thursday 20 June, 2022.

(8) CLOSING DATE AND OPENING
Submission of Tender closes on Thursday 20 June, 2022. Any Tender received after the stated date and time will not be considered. The submitted document will be opened in the same day Thursday 20 June, 2022 at 12:00noon at the Company’s Auditorium. Bidders or their representative(s) are required to be present at the opening, Sid opening ceremony shall strictly be In compliance with COVID-19 Guidelines.
