DEADLINE: 28TH NOVEMBER, 2022
FEDERAL MINISTRY OF FINANCE, BUDGET AND NATIONAL PLANNING
INVITATION TO TENDER FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS FOR PROCUREMENT OF GOODS AND WORKS, AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES PROJECTS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE INCORPORATED (MOFI)

INTRODUCTION
The Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) is a statutory corporation established by the MOFI Act, 1959, as a custodian entity charged with managing the Federal Government’s investments in Government Owned Entities (GOEs) and Government Linked Entities (GLEs). Due to the numerous challenges limiting its performance, MOFI has been unable to adequately optimize the value-for-money of the FG’S investments. As a result, MOFI’s importance as the investment value-generating vehicle for the FG has been significantly diminished.

To reverse these negatives trends, the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning initiated a Review, Restructure and Repositioning programme to revitalize the FG’s investments in economically viable Entities. This is aimed at creating and retaining jobs, growing wealth for Nigeria and its citizens, growing FG revenues, funding government programmes and extracting optimal value from the FG’s assets. As part of this restructuring program, an asset valuation and due diligence process has been initiated to understand the current state and value of the government’s corporate assets towards providing a credible reference point for vital data such as operational status, financial value and performance among other indicators of business, financial and operational health.

In light of the above, and towards achieving MOFI’s mandatory objectives, the FMFBNP wishes to apply part of the funds in its 2022 appropriation for the implementation of some of the MOFI’s 2022 capital projects through procurement of Goods, Works and Consultancy Services. Accordingly, and in compliance with the Public Procurement Act, (PPA) 2007, the Ministry hereby invites interested, reputable and qualified Consultants to express interest and submit tender documents for the procurement of the following projects:-
