EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF AGROFORESTRY TREE SEEDLINGS
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; “Integrated Approach to climate change in Rice production System in Nigeria – GIAE NG – InACC Programme”, financed by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and the European Union, would like to procure via a “Negotiated Award Procedure” the following Agroforestry Tree Seedlings in six (6) Lots to be distributed within Nigeria:
Lot 1: 9,000 units of Oil Palm (Tenera)
Lot 2: 7,000 units of Banana & Plantain (Improved Sucker)
Lot 3: 4,000 units of Citrus (Washington)
Lot 4: 3,000 units of Mango (Broken)
Lot 5: 2,000 units of Teak (Improved spp)
Lot 6: 2,000 units of Bush Mango (Improved spp) Including delivery.
Accordingly, interested Bidder are invited to furnish GIZ Nigeria Country Office with the following:
a. Comprehensive company profile
b. An official letter expressing interest.
c. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and Memorandum of Association clearly indicating relevant business area.
d. A Bank Introductory letter. Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years clearly indicating (minimum) average turnover per year (as applicable) for:
i. Lot 1 – 9,500,000 naira; ii. Lot 2 – 10,500,000 naira; iii. Lot 3 – 3,600,000 niara; iv. Lot 4 – 4,050,000 naira; v. Lot 5-750,000 naira; vi. Lot 6 1,500,000 naira.
f. Evidence of experience with previous similar jobs (supply and delivery of seedlings with values that add up to minimum of
i. Lot 1 -9,500,000 naira; ii. Lot 2 – 10,500,000 naira;iii, Lot 3-3,600,000 niara; iv. Lot 4 – 4,050,000 naira; v. Lot 5-750,000 naira; vi. Lot 6-1,500,000 naira
Only third-party evidence will be considered, not list of similar jobs. For consideration, all interested bidders should submit the aforementioned documents only in hardcopies in a sealed envelope to GIZ Nigeria Office reception at No. 12 Charles de Gaulle Street, Asokoro, Abuja labelled:

Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated not later than Thursday, 10 November 2022 by 5 pm will be accepted and considered.
The shortlist for the successful bidders will be separated based on expressed lots.
