INVITATION TO TENDER FOR RENOVATION OF FEMALE STUDENTS HOSTELS A & B COMPRISING MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT WORKS

Imo State University Owerri is one of the foremost State Universities in Nigeria and a TETFUND BENEFICIARY Institution.

Consequent upon TETFUND’s approval on her maintenance intervention project, the University hereby invites competent and qualified contractors to present technical and financial bid for her maintenance project intervention with the following details:

(A)

1Renovation of female Students Hostels A & B comprising maintenance and improvement works on Female Hostel Block A and Block B with demolition, Block work. Installation of Doors, Wardrobes floor finishing, wall finishing and ceiling finishing’s painting, plumbing installation and electrical installationTETFUND/OWERRI/ PM/17-200139,134,945.00

(B) Take further notice that Bid tendering shall close at 4pm, six weeks from the date of this publication (17, MARCH 2023)

(C) General Requirements
Interested and competent contractors wishing to carry out the above job shall submit the following documents and any other document as may be required for verification.

(i) Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registration.

(ii) Valid tax clearance certificate for the past three years.

(iii) Evidence of compliance with pension fund.

(iv) Evidence of compliance with ITF contribution.

(v) Evidence of compliance with NSITF

(vi) Evidence of Registration on the National Database of contractors, consultants and service providers by BPP or a copy of interim Registration Report.

(vii) Valid Sworn affidavit.

(viii) Current company’s audited statement of account.

(ix) Comprehensive company profile including functional email address. GSM phone numbers.

(x) Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in an institution similar to IMSU.

(xi) Reference letter from Bank stating financial ability to carry out such projects.

(xii) Evidence of Registration as a contractor with Imo State University.

(xiii) Evidence of Account holding with Imo State University Micro Finance Bank.

The bidder shall prepare two sealed copies of the bid marked original Bid and copy of Bid as appropriate. Each copy shall comprise two separate envelopes.

(a) The Technical proposal should be submitted in a sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner IMSU Maintenance Intervention Bid.

(b) The financial Bid should be submitted in a second sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner IMSU Maintenance Intervention Bid.

(D) IMPORTANT NOTICE
(i) Only successful qualified bidders will have their financial bids evaluated.

(ii) Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of IMSU to engage any bidder.
