NIGERIA HOTEL LIMITED (NHL) IN-LIQUIDATION
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE SALE OF 700,000 SHARES OF THE NIGERIA HOTEL LIMITED (IN- LIQUIDATION) IN LAKE CHAD HOTEL LIMITED, MAIDUGURI

  1. The Nigeria Hotel Limited (NHL) was incorporated in 1982 as a private limited company with its registered office address at No. 18 Oba Elegushi Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. The Shareholders of the company are: Federal Ministry of Finance Incorporated, New Nigeria Development Company Limited, NICON Insurance Cooperation, Nigeria Railway Cooperation, Bank of Industry, Kano State Investment and Property Limited and Niger Insurance Plc.
  2. The Nigeria Hotel Limited is a Shareholder in Lake Chad Hotel Limited (a company located at Sir Kashiru Ibrahim Road, Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria) and validly has 700,000 paid up shares in the company.
  3. In accordance with the valuation rate of the shares as at the 27 day of September, 2021, the above shares are valued at N112,182,000 (One Hundred and Twelve Million, One Hundred and Eighty-Two Thousand Naira).
  4. The Liquidator of the Nigeria Hotel Limited in accordance with Article 28(6) of the Memorandum of Association of the Lake Chad Hotel Limited hereby invites prospective buyers to express their interest in the acquisition of the 700,000 shares within 14 days from the date of this publication.
  5. Method of Application
    Interested buyers should submit the original copy of their Expression of Interest (Eol) with five (5) duplicate copies in sealed packages clearly marked “Expression of Interest for the purchase of the 700,000 shares of the Nigeria Hotel Limited (In-Liquidation) in Lake Chad Hotel Limited, Maiduguri” and deliver the said packages to the Liquidator’s address below not later than 12:00pm (GMT+1) on the 30th day of March, 2023.
