EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL AUDITOR
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the posts of External Auditor, Federal University of Technology, Owerri

(1.0) EXTERNAL AUDITOR
(1.1) PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested Auditors are invited to submit the following documents with the application:
(i) Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2023.
(ii) Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission including CAC2 and CAC7 forms.
(iii) Evidence of the Company’s Registration with the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation in the year for which appointment is being sought as evidenced in the list of accredited firms issued by the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation.
(iv) Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
(v) Evidence of registration of the Firms’ Officers with the relevant Professional Bodies.
(vi) Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurement’s National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 30/9/2023 or valid certificate issued by the BPP.
(vii) Verifiable list of similar or other Auditing jobs successfully carried out with their locations and dates. Please include copies of letters of such appointments.
(1.2) MODE & SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
Interested Auditors must submit two(2) separate copies in wax sealed envelopes and marked “External Auditors Application” on the right hand side of the envelop and addressed to:

The closing date for submission of applications will be four (4) weeks from the date of this advertisement (22 June, 2023).
(1.3) The University shall not enter into any correspondence with any unsuccessful Auditor.
