SUBJECT: DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF MSION CAREER WEBSITE

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS
Since 2009, Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria (MSION) has worked in Nigeria to increase access to high quality, acceptable and affordable sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services for all people. MSION provides maternal and child health services as well as different modern methods of contraception free from stigma, judgemental or discriminatory bias.
MSION is inviting Expressions of interest (EOIs) from eligible vendors for the provision of the service below with details:
DESCRIPTION OF ITEM
OBJECTIVES:
The company/agency will work in collaboration with the Human Resource team and IT Manager in designing, developing testing, deploying, training of staff, and performance monitoring of the tools and features of a Career website. There will be periodic stakeholders meeting where the project progress would be discussed.
SCOPE OF WORK
The website development and design company/agency will be expected to undertake the following tasks.
· Facilitate and develop a creative brief that defines the scope and functionality of a new recruitment website that is fit for purpose defined by the stakeholders and in comparison, with other international development organisation;
· Web design and development – project manage, design, and develop a dynamic, responsive and world-class recruitment website capturing the latest trends for website presentations and which is compatible and easily accessible to most common device browsers (laptops, mobiles and other handheld devices);
· The website should be easy to navigate both at the front-end and back-end for ease of use.
· Integrate an effective search function on the website to reflect, Job Search, Job categories, Location, Departments Etc. Applicants should be able to develop their own CVs on the website by providing their details in well-defined categories.
· The backend features should feature; Posting adverts, archiving of applications, Spooling of CVs (requirements will be agreed on), Shortlisting of applicants, Scheduling of interviews, Feedback on interview outcome etc.
· Following an internal appraisal process, install the website on the hosting location, and transfer all archived content from the current recruitment website into the new website (Job adverts. Categories, Resumes etc.)
· Review current website hosting and recommend enhancements or change to host a new website
· Configure website hosting with relevant security certificates & panel access.
· Knowledge transfer – provide training to selected MSION team on management of the website, updating of the advert sections and other website content.
· Write content for the new website
· Provide support for a period of 1 year after the go-live date of the website with the possibility of renewal of support contract based on performance.

(2) REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The vendor should demonstrate and provide examples of previous experience in the performance of similar services as follows:
· Be a reputable firm with at least 3 years of prior experience designing visually appealing and navigation-friendly websites.
· Familiarity and relevant experience in using different Content Management Systems (CMS) to develop database-driven websites.
· Have a deep knowledge of current web development technologies and design tools in the field, and new software and other web programming languages and programs including the use of HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, PHP, MYSQL, Java.
· Have excellent knowledge of recent trends in user interface design, flagship websites, including online video publishing, animation, and social media networking.
· Demonstrate the ability to create an Innovative and visually appealing design that is appropriate to the client and audiences.
· Ability to produce compelling written and visual digital content for newly launched websites and digital platforms; and
· Experience in project managing website development projects and facilitating organizational input to deliver on time and within budget.
(3) DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT
Website development and design shall take a maximum of three (3) months from the day of signing of the contract between MSlON and the vendor.
The vendor will be required to submit a detailed work plan with clear timelines on deliverables.
(4) DISCLAIMER
MSlON reserves the right to determine the structure of the process, number of shortlisted participants, the right to withdraw from the proposal process, the right to change this timetable at any time without notice and reserves the right to withdraw this tender at any time, without prior notice and without liability to compensate and/or reimburse any time.
All price quoted should include all statutory deductions of 10% WHT and MSlON makes payment for completed transactions within 21 days.
