EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR REGISTRATION OF COMPANIES FOR THE SUPPLY OF GOODS, SERVICES AND PROVISION OF WORKS TO THE AFRICA CENTRES FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION
1. Background
Africa CDC is a continental autonomous health agency of the African Union established to support public health initiatives of Member States and strengthen the capacity of their public health institutions to detect, prevent, control and respond quickly and effectively to disease threats.
The Africa CDC has allocated funds in addition to contributions from development partners’ towards procurement for works, goods and services for both the headquarter and its regional offices
In seeking to achieve the above, the Africa CDC wishes to develop its supplier’s database for different categories of works, goods and services. The categories are:
a) Stationeries and office consumables
b) Computers, IT Equipment & Accessories
c) Promotional/Gift Items
d) Design and Printing Works
e) Furniture and Fittings
f) Office Equipment
g) Electrical Materials
h) Communication Equipment
i) Fire and Safety Equipment
j) Medical Supplies & Laboratory Materials
k) Maintenance of Vehicle Services
l) Packing, Forwarding and Clearing
m) Interpretation Service with equipment
n) Advertising Services
o) Car Rental Services
p) Courier Service (local and international)
q) Networking Services
r) Uniforms
s) Construction and related works
t) Audio-visual Equipment and Services
u) Ushering and event organizing services
v) Catering Service Providers
w) Accommodation and Services Conference Package
x) Consultancy service
2. Eligibility
The invitation is open to all Suppliers/Contractors from all UN and AU member states.
Applicants must not be under a declaration of suspension for corrupt, fraudulent, collusive, coercive or obstructive practices in the current & in the past from AU, UN, World Bank & Other Public Institutions.
The African CDC now calls for registration from eligible companies that wish to provide any of the above services. Interest companies are required to download the registration form from http://au.int/en/bids.

4. Submission of Registration Form
Registration Form with attached Company profile and other documents indicated in the form must be submitted to tender@africa-cdc.org copy selamg@africa-union.org and ElodieL@africa- union.org before 16th September 2023 before 15:00 hours.
All applications receipt would be evaluated based on the company’s general qualifications and relevant experience.
The companies that best meets our requirements would be registered in the database and would be contacted from time to time whenever business opportunity arise.
