NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF OCEAN STORE DORADO ALL-FLASH PRIMARY AND DISASTER RECOVERY (DR) SITE STORAGE DEVICE IN LOTS 1 & 2
1. The Federal Inland Revenue Service (IRS) of Nigeria is a semi-autonomous agency established by the Federal Inland Revenue Service Establishment Act 2007 to collect tax on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria. its vision is to deliver quality service to taxpayers in partnership with other stakeholders and make taxation the pivot of national development. Its mission is to operate an efficient and transparent tax system that optimizes tax revenue collection and voluntary tax compliance.
2. The attention of the general public is hereby drawn to the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) published on FIRS website, Blueprint Newspaper, Thisday Newspaper of Monday, August 21, 2023 and Federal Tender Journal Vol. 19 No. 16 of Monday August 21, 2023 to Sunday September, 3rd 2023, wherein the service made an invitation for pre-qualification for the supply and installation of Ocean store All-Flash Primary and DR site Storage Device in Lot 1 & 2.
3. This publication is to notify the general public of the service’s decision to cancel the advertisement due to certain in consistencies in the aforementioned Specific Procurement Notice. This decision is taken in the interest of the service and the general public.
4. By this notice, the general public is to note this cancellation and watch out for a follow-up advertisement in subsequent edition of the Federal Tenders Journal and National Dallies for the corrected version.
