RE: INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR 2024 CAPITAL PROJECTS
CORRIGENDUM TO OUR EARLIER ADVERTISEMENT IN THE FEDERAL TENDER JOURNAL OF VOLUME 20 NO. 5 AND OTHER TWO NATIONAL DALLIES (DAILY TRUST AND NIGERIAN TRIBUNE), ALL OF MONDAY 4TH MARCH 2024.
A. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
This is to refer to the advertisement placed in the Federal Tenders Journal (vol. 20, No 5 – Monday, March 4th – Sunday March 17th 2024 and other two national dallies (Daily Trust and Nigerian Tribune) of Monday, 4th March, 2024, inviting experienced and competent suppliers to tender for the procurement.
The board wishes to correct the said advertisement and state that the Eligibility requirements for valid date of the Evidence for Tax Clearance certificate, evidence of pension clearance certificate, evidence of industrial training fund, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, and Evidence of Interim Registration Report which were erroneously stated as 31st December, 2023 is now 31st December, 2024.
Also, the audited accounts needed are those of 2021, 2022 & 2023 as against the ones of 2020, 2021 & 2022 earlier published.
Consequences upon the above, the advert periods have been extended by two (2) weeks for category A and one (1) week for category B from the published date as follows;
B. SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS (CATEGORY A)
Prospective bidders are to submit bid for each of the Lot desired, two (2) hard copies, each of the technical and financial bids separated by dividers and arranged as indicated above and clearly marked as “Technical Bid” or “Financial Bid”. The documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to:

PMB Ikpoba Hill, Benin City,
Edo State.
And clearly marked with the name of the project and Lot number.
Furthermore, the reverse of each sealed envelope should bear the name and address of the bidder and drop in the designated Tender Box in the procurement unit office (Block B), National Business and Technical Examinations Board, National Headquarters, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City, not later than 12:00 noon on Monday, 22nd April, 2024.
C. SUBMISSION OF PREQUALIFICATION (CATEGORY B)
Prospective bidders are to submit Pre-qualification documents for category B, two (2) bound hard copies of the technical bids, arranged as indicated above and clearly marked as “prequalification”. The documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to;

PMB Ikpoba Hill, Benin City, Edo State.
And clearly marked with the name of the project and lot number.
Furthermore, the reverse of each sealed envelope should bear the name and address of the bidder and drop in the designated Tender Box in the procurement unit office (Block B), National Business and Technical Examinations Board, National Headquarters, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City, not later than 12:00 noon on Monday 25th March, 2024.
D. OPENING OF PRE-QUALIFICATION AND TECHNICAL BIDS
Prequalification: The Prequalification documents will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 noon on Monday 25th March, 2024, at the Library Complex, NABTEB, Nationals Headquarters, Ikpoba-Hill, Benin city, Edo State.
Invitation to Tenders: only the technical bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission 12:00 noon on Monday, 22nd April, 2024, at the Library Complex, NABTEB, Nationals Headquarters, Ikpoba-Hill, Benin city, Edo State, while the financial bids will be kept un-opened.
