EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES
State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno, Enugu State is desirous of appointing a new accounting firm as External Auditors.
Expressions of interest are therefore invited from reputable accounting firms that wish to be considered as External Auditors to the University. Interested firms should submit applications furnishing the following relevant information about their organization;
1. Brief on the firm
2. Locations of head office and branches in Enugu State
3. Evidence of license to practice and CAC registration. ICAN licensed practitioners must be those listed on the ICAN website.
4. Names of partners.
5. Key clients and their areas of business, contact persons and their functional phone numbers
6. Evidence of audit services in public sector organizations, especially tertiary institutions.
7. Summary of strength, qualifications and experience of partner and staff.
8. Details of litigations against the firm and/or foreign affiliates if any, in the past three years.
9. Evidence of current registrations with the Auditor-General of the Federation, and Auditor General of Enugu State.
Responses in twelve (12) hard copies sealed with the inscription “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES’ at the top left hand corner of the envelope should reach the REGISTRAR, STATE UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES (SUMAS), IGBO-ENO), ENUGU STATE not later than one month from the date of this publication.
Late submissions will not be accepted. Only shortlisted accounting firms will be contacted.
