REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES
RFP NO.: LIFE-ND/NPCO/ICB/001/2024
1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), toward the implementation of the Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project. This project is aimed at enhancing income, job creation and food security through Agribusiness enterprise development in a sustainable manner for the Niger Delta region. LIFE-ND intends to apply part of the funding to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Motor Vehicles for the LIFE-ND Project.
2. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue on UN536-11/19 dated 4th November 2019.
3. Accordingly the National Project Coordinating Office LIFE-NG now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of the following:

4. Bidding will be conducted through The International Competitive Bidding (ICB), a procedure specified in the IFAD Procurement Guidelines: this bid is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.
5. COLLECTION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS
Interested bidders in submitting a bid shall purchase the bidding document against payment of a non-refundable fee of N100,000.00 (one hundred thousand naira )only through a bank draft from a commercial bank. On presentation of the bank draft should be in favor of IFAD Assisted Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project.
6. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT
Instructions regarding preparation and submission of the bids are contained in the RFB document.
7. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 12:00pm local time on 9th October 2024
Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presences of bidders or representative, who choose to attend at the address below on 9th October 2024 at 12:00 pm local time.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of as stated in the table above in local currency or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
