Founded in 1945 with the creation of the CARE Package®, CARE is a leading development and humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. CARE focuses on women and girls while working alongside men, boys, and communities to understand the root causes of poverty and find innovative, locally led solutions.

This year, CARE and partners worked in 111 countries implementing 1,600 poverty-fighting development and humanitarian aid projects and initiatives, that reached 174,000,000 people. CARE Nigeria is registered with CAC and has signed an MOU with the Government of Nigeria to implement development and humanitarian relief assistance to affected populations in Nigeria.

CARE Nigeria recently launched its 2024-2030 Country Strategy, which seeks to advance Nigeria’s health and nutrition outcomes, particularly for women and girls, by enhancing access to and utilization of effective, safe, and quality Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health plus Nutrition (RMNCAH+N) services. This strategy aligns with Nigeria’s primary healthcare (PHC) priorities, aiming for transformative and sustainable impact. It employs a health systems approach and responsive service delivery to address social injustice.

CARE Nigeria is issuing a “Request for Proposals” for:
