INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION

1.0 INTRODUCTION:
In compliance with public procurement law of Kaduna State 2016, Chikun Local Government Council is in process of carrying out the Second Quarter of its 2025 procurement. In view of the foregoing background, suitably interested, qualified and reputable companies are hereby invited to Submit tender for its invitation to Tender Notice in respect of the following project.

LOT 1:

  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Chikun Street Tirikaniya Sabon Gari Ward.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Chikun Street Tirikaniya Sabon Gari Gobirawa.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Ikulu street by ECWA Church Sabon Tasha Ward.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Sabon Gari Road by Nasarawa Road Sabon Tasha Ward. Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at main road by Apostolic Church Unguwan Sauri Kakau Ward.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at UnguwanTanko T-Junction by Jamaa Road Kakau Ward.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Chikun street Narayi Ward Ward.

  • Renovation of LEA Primary School at 7No. Classes at Primary School 1 Narayi, Narayi Ward.
  • Renovation of LEA Primary School at 2No. Classes at Primary School Nasarawa, Nasarawa Ward.
  • Renovation of LEA Primary School at 4No. Classes at Primary School Yelwa, Yelwa Ward.
  • Renovation of LEA Primary School at 3No. Classes at Primary School Nasarawa, Nasarawa Ward.
  • Repairs of collapsed fence at Rural Hospital Kujama, Chikun LGA.

LOT 4:

  • Construction of Double Cell Box Culvert at Ung. Sauri, Kakau Ward

  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Ang. Alaramma Hashiram Kuriga Ward.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Gabasawa Kuriga ward.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Kakamai Road.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Kakamai Road Gwagwada Ward.
  • Construction of Single Cell Ring Culvert at Bashishi after secondary sch. Gwagwada Ward.

  • Renovation of 3No. Classes at Primary Sch. Ang. Kado Across Railway Station Gwagwada Ward.
  • Renovation of 3No. Classes at Primary Sch. Buruku Rafin Gero 2 Kunai Ward.
  • Renovation of 3No. Classes at Primary Sch. Maraban Rido Ward.
  • Renovation of 2No. Classes at Primary Sch. Sabon Gari Ward.
  • Renovation of 3No. Classes at Primary Sch. Dakunu Chikun Ward.

LOT 7:

  • Re – Installation of Armoured conductor of 300KVA Transformer at Chikun LGA.

ELIGIBILITY:
Interested Companies are required to submit the underlisted documents which will be used as criteria for technical evaluation of all bids:
i. Evidence of registration of the Company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of registration with Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority.
iii. Evidence of the Company’s tax income clearance certificate of at least 2 years immediately proceeding this year.
iv. Evidence of Companies Financial Capability to handle these projects with letter of assurance from Companies bankers.
v. Evidence by letter of award of Contract, photographs and valuation certificate in respect of similar previous projects.

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
Interested Company shall collect tender form/document from the procurement office of Chikun Local Government Secretariat at the council Secretariat, upon payment of #20,000 non refundable expression of interest fees per Procurement from Monday 26th May, 2025 – Monday 2nd June, 2025 from the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm daily including Saturdays and Sundays.

SUBMISSION OF TENDER:
Completed technical and/or financial bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly showing the Description of the project, (procurement) and name of the Contractor on top of the envelope addressed to The Chairman Chikun Local Government Council and any bid Submitted not in Compliance with this notice may be rejected or returned.

CLOSING DATE:
Submission of tender shall be closed by 12:00noon on Monday 2nd June, 2025. OPENING OF BID AND

VENUE:
Completed bid documents Submitted by the Companies will be publicly opened by 11:00am on Tuesday 3rd June, 2025 at Chikun Local Government Council Chamber. Tenderers or their representatives and other members of the general public are all invited to witness opening of the bids.
