RE: INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE EXECUTION OF THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF POWER CAPITAL PROJECTS UNDER THE 2025 CAPITAL APPROPRIATION (ADDENDUM)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The general public may wish to be guided that all procurement activities of the Ministry Shall be fully governed by the Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2007 and the Federal Government Executive Order on Transparency and Support for Local Content in public procurement whereby the following minimum eligibility criteria are expected to be met by all prospective bidders:
i. Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last (3) years (2022, 2023 and 2024) expiring 31st December, 2025; reflecting minimum average annual turnover of: N100Million for projects under works in category A, N20Million for projects under goods in category B and N500Million for projects in category D.
ii. Evidence of valid registration with Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) for projects in category A&D;
SUBMISSION/OPENING OF BIDS
The Technical Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission as follows:
i. Category C (EOI) 12:00 noon on Thursday, 21st August 2025;
ii. Category D (Prequalification) 12:00 noon on Thursday, 21st August 2025 and
iii. Category A and B 12:00 noon on Monday 1st September 2025, at the Tender secretariat, while Financial Bids will be unopened. All opening exercises shall take place at the 2nd Floor Auditorium, Federal Ministry of Power, Power House, 14, Zambezi Crescent, Maitama, Abuja. Deadline for submission not later than 12:00 noon on Thursday, 21st August 2025 for Category C and Category D and 12:00 noon on Monday, 1st September 2025 for Category A and B.
