SUBJECT: IMPLEMENTATION OF BUSINESS CONTINUITY SOLUTION & BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN

Background
MSI NIGERIA REPRODUCTIVE CHOICES is a social enterprise established in Nigeria in 2009 and is a leading provider of family planning and a range of contraceptive options to women, girls, and families across the 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT. With a mission to ensure children by choice not chance, MSI Nigeria envisions a world where every birth is wanted. Through collaborations with government at the national, state, and community levels, MSI Nigeria offers accessible and comprehensive reproductive healthcare services using operational approaches, such as Marie Stopes Medical Centres, community outreach teams, public sector strengthening support, and a toll-free contact centre.
MSI NIGERIA is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from eligible vendors for the provision of the service below with details:
Objectives:
The company/agency will work in collaboration with the IT Manager in designing, developing, testing, deploying, training of staff, and performance monitoring of the Business Continuity Solution (BCS), and creation of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the Data Center. The preferred BCS of choice is the Veeam Backup & Recovery solution. There will be periodic stakeholders meeting where the project progress would be discussed.
1. Scope of work
Deployment of Business Continuity Solution (BCS)
1. Supply, install and deploy a licensed Veeam Backup & Recovery solution
2. Execute backup tasks for all physical and virtual servers.
3. Configure backup jobs targeting the Backup Server.
4. Replicate all backup jobs from the Backup Server to Azure Cloud Repository.
5. Design and implement a backup schedule distributing jobs into different time slots.
6. Define & apply a backup policy including retention, encryption, and access control.
7. Conduct a test recovery to validate the effectiveness of the BCS.
Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
1. Develop a BCP document outlining procedures for disaster scenarios.
2. Include communication plans, recovery steps, and escalation paths.
3. Provide recommendations for equipment safety and data center management.
4. Conduct training on administration & management of the backup solution.
5. Plan and execute BCP drills and periodic reviews.
Deliverables
- Configured BCS with backup schedules and policies.
- Backup and recovery test reports.
- Business Continuity Plan document.
- Training materials and session records.
- Final project report with recommendations.
- Schematic diagram of backup infrastructure.
2. Required Skills and Experience
The vendor should demonstrate and provide examples of previous experience in the performance of similar services as follows:
1. Be a reputable firm with at least 3 years of prior experience in deploying Business Continuity Solutions, specifically Veeam Backup & Recovery in the Enterprise.
2. Familiarity and relevant experience in deploying Business Continuity solutions and creating a Business Continuity Plan.
3. Have a deep knowledge of Windows Server, VMware ESXi and Windows domain network technologies, and Azure Cloud technologies.
4. Vast experience in replicating backup to a cloud storage (Azure) as offsite location.
5. Experience in project managing backup solution projects and facilitating organizational input to deliver on time and within budget.
3. Duration of Assignment
The implementation of the Business Continuity Solution & Business Continuity Plan shall take a maximum of Six (6) weeks from the day of signing of the contract between MSI NIGERIA and the vendor. The vendor will be required to submit a detailed work plan with clear timelines on deliverables.

MSI NIGERIA reserves the right to determine the structure of the process, number of shortlisted participants, the right to withdraw from the proposal process, the right to change this timetable at any time without notice and reserves the right to withdraw this tender at any time, without prior notice and without liability to compensate and/or reimburse any time.
All price quoted should include all statutory deductions of 2% WHT and MSI Nigeria makes payment for completed transactions within 21 days.
