REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI)
SUBJECT: SUPPLY OF CONTAINERS
REFERENCE: EOI/046/2025

Background:
MSI NIGERIA REPRODUCTIVE CHOICES is a social enterprise established in Nigeria in 2009 and is a leading provider of family planning and a range of contraceptive options to women, girls, and families across the 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT. With a mission to ensure children by choice not chance, MSI Nigeria envisions a world where every birth is wanted. Through collaborations with government at the national, state, and community levels, MSI Nigeria offers accessible and comprehensive reproductive healthcare services using operational approaches, such as Marie Stopes Medical Centres, community outreach teams, public sector strengthening support, and a toll-free contact centre.

Description of requirements:
MSI Nigeria is inviting Expression of Interest (EOIs) from eligible suppliers for the supply of underlisted items:

SCOPE OF WORK

1. CONTAINER BASE
Construction of reinforced concrete base covering 13m length by 3m width OR
Construction of reinforced concrete base columns (8 columns) measuring 600mm x 600mm each including reinforced concrete footing/foundation and steps.

2. ROOFING
Pitched roofing over 12.2m x 2.44m metal container with aluminum roof covering/ridge cap/flashing including all wooden roof members.
Install aluminium roofing sheets and cladding over each container.
Ensure proper drainage and weather protection.

3. WOODWORK

  • ½ inch thick particle board metal 12.2m x 2.44m metal container wall cladding.
  • Internal celotex suspended ceiling covering 12.2m x 2.44m.

4. WINDOWS & VENTILATION
(a) Install 900mm x 900mm size aluminum and glass casement windows (3 per container):
Placement: Two on each of the longer sides, one on the shorter side of each container.
Include protective grills for security.
(b) Install 1 extractor fan per container
Specification: Wall-mounted, 400 CFM.
Dimensions: 13.5 inches x 13.5 inches.
Placement: On one width side of each container for optimal ventilation.

5. DOORS

  • Fabricate and install 1 door per container using off-cut container material.
  • Complete with hinges, locks, and frames made from square pipes.

6. INTERIOR FINISHING

  • Install ceiling in each container using ceiling boards and batons.
  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces of all six containers with weather-resistant and washable paint.
  • Install tiles in each container using ceramic floor 300x300mm 9mm.
  • Install insulator in each container.

7. ELECTRICAL & AIRCONDITIONING (A/C)

  • Allow for provision of power supply from main building to metal container (about 20m distance).
  • Provision of 2 security 100watts flood lighting per container
  • Provision of 3 13amp sockets per container
  • Provision of 3 15amps sockets per container
  • Provision of 2 lighting switches and 1 AC switch per container.
  • Supply and installation of 2HP Hisense A/C (7 Nos).

8. ACCESS & STRUCTURAL ENHANCEMENTS
Construct staircases and platforms for accessing stacked containers (Abuja)
Include handrails using square pipes and H-channel iron.

9. PAINTING
Allow for external gloss painting of metal container.

11. DELIVERY

All price quoted should include all statutory deductions of 2% WHT and MSI
Nigeria makes payment for completed transactions within 21 days. Delivery will be made to the MSI Abuja Office.

Potential Suppliers:
This REOI is addressed to vendors who are into construction and fabrication. Applicable due diligence shall be conducted on successful vendors. Samples will be presented to the office for approval.

Quotation, Company Profile, Corporate Capability (Copies of Certificate of Incorporation, CAC Form CO2 and CO7, Memorandum of Association), Evidence of Tax Clearance for 2021-2023, Evidence of past jobs Executed should be submitted to: MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices Nigeria, Plot 59 Anthony Enahoro Street, off Okonjo-Iweala Road, Utako District, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria.
