REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AND INVITATION TO TENDER FOR SOME PROJECTS IN SOKOTO STATE

The Sokoto State Government through the Ministry of Works plans to embark on Construction of some Roads in the State in line with 2026 Approved Budget.

(2) In this regard reputable, experienced and competent interested contractors are hereby invited to tender for the projects.

Interested bidders’ submission should include the following:

(a) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

(b) Evidence of registration with relevant Ministries and Bureaus in Sokoto State.

(c) Evidence of TAX clearance for three years (2023,2024 & 2025).

(d) Evidence of VAT registration.

(e) Comprehensive Company Profile indicating key professional staff.

(f) Evidence of similar projects executed in the State or anywhere in Nigeria.

(g) Evidence of financial capability and banking support.

THE PROPOSED PROJECTS ARE:

Lot 1Construction Of Mandera-Darin Guru-Jabpo Road (13.5KM)
Lot 2Constriction Of Kajiji-Sanyinnawal Road (7.5KM)
Lot 3REHABILITATION OF ROAD, EMBANKMENTProtection And Provision Of Box Culverts At Dan Tudu, Yar-Bullutu, Makuwana & Faru Villages Along Sabon Birni Road.

(4) COLLECTION/SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
The bid/tender documents will be made available for collection upon presentation of the payment of non-refundable fee of ₦500,000.00 only, for each LOT at the Ministry of Works. The duly completed documents should be signed, sealed and addressed as indicated.

(5) ALL BIDDERS SHALL:

(i) Inspect the projects and assure themselves of the scope of work

(ii) Ensure that the tender cost will adequately cover the execution of work without further demand from the government.

(iii) Tenders or their representative are invited to witness the tender opening.

(iv) All tender documents shall submitted within 2weeks of this publication (08 April, 2026).

(v) Submission of Tenders will be close by 12:00noon and will be opened by 12:01pm.
