EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EXTERNAL AUDITOR

Okuku Microfinance Bank, a reputable and borrowing financial institution located in Okuku, Osun State, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced firms/professionals for appointment as External Auditor.

Scope of Work

The External Auditor will be responsible for:

  • Conducting statutory audit of the Bank’s financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Expressing an independent opinion on the financial statements.
  • Reviewing the Bank’s internal control systems and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Issuing Management Letters highlighting audit findings and recommendations.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements including those of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC).

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants must:

  • Be a firm of Chartered Accountants registered with a recognized professional body e.g., ICAN.
  • Be duly registered with the Financial ^porting Council of Nigeria (FRC).
  • Have a valid practicing license.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years’ relevant Experience, preferably in auditing Uncial institutions, especially microfinance banks.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of IFRS, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Have a track record of integrity independence, and professionalism.

  • Company profile (including evidence of registration and practicing license)
  • Details of relevant experience and similar assignments executed.
  • Proposed audit methodology and work plan
  • Evidence of FRC registration
  • List of key personnel with qualifications and experience
