INVITATION FOR BIDSCONSTRUCTION OF INCINERATORS AND BIO-DIGESTERS IN ZARIA, KAWO, ZANGO TUDUN WADA KADUNA AND KAFANCHAN
The Kaduna State Government through the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the cost of livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contracts for the Construction of Incinerators and Bio-digesters in Zaria, Kawo, Zango Tudun Wada Kaduna and Kafanchan Abattoirs
The Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES) Project is now inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Construction of:
- Lot 1: Construction of 4 number of Incinerators in Zaria, Kawo, Zango T/Wada Kaduna and Kafanchan Abattoirs.
- Lot 2: Construction of 4 number Biodigesters in Zaria, Kawo, Zango T/Wada Kaduna and Kafanchan Abattoirs.

(1) Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bids (RFB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Civil Works under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (LPRES) Project at the address given below from 10.00hrs to 16.00hrs, Monday to Thursday.
(2) Qualification’s requirements include:
(i) Average annual financial capacity of the last 3 years
(ii) Experience as contractor carrying out at least two projects of similar nature and complexity over the last 3 years (to comply with this requirement, the work cited should be at least 90% complete)
(iii) Availability of essential equipment (own, lease, hire, etc) as listed in the Bidding Data Sheet.
(iv) Contract Manager with 15 years’ experience in construction works of an equivalent nature and volume including not less than 10 years as Contract Manager and;
(3) A complete set of Bidding Document in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) for each Lot. The method of payment will be by bank draft in favor of Kaduna State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project. The document will be collected by bidder’s representative on request.
(4) Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12.00 Noon on Thursday, 18 June, 2026 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount stated in the table above. Late bids will be rejected.
(5) Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on Thursday, 18 June, 2026 by 12.00 Noon (immediately after close of submission), at the address below:
