Guri Local Government, Jigawa State- Invitation To Tender For The Construction Of Modern Motor Park And Model School (2 Lots)

DEADLINE: 1ST AUGUST, 2022 GURI LOCAL GOVERNMENT, JIGAWA STATE INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MODERN MOTOR PARK AND MODEL SCHOOL

PREAMBLE In compliance with the Jigawa State procurement process, Guri Local Government Jigawa State wishes to notify interested bidders of its intention to construct a modem motor park and model school at Guri Town.

PROJECT SCOPE (1) Construction of modem Motor Park (phase 1) in Guri Town

(2) Construction of Model School in Guri Town

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Interested, competent and reliable contractors are required to provide verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following documents:

(i) Certificate of incorporation with Cooperate Affairs Commission;

(ii) Certified true copy of Memorandum and Article of Association

(iii) Evidence of registration with Jigawa State Works’ registration Unit;

(iv) Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years;

(v) Audited account for the last one ,(1) year

(vi) VAT registration and evidence of past remittance

(vii) Evidence of financial Capability and Banking support;

(viii) Company average annual turnover of not less than 50M

(ix) Evidence of similar projects executed (letter of award and completion certificate) at least three (3) in the last five (5) years;

(x) That the company has fulfilled all obligation to pay taxes, pensions and social security contributions;

(xi) Evidence of qualified technical personnel registered with professional bodies e.g (COREN, CORBON, NIQS etc)

(xii) A sworn affidavit certifying as follows

(a) That the document submitted for the bidding exercise are not only genuine but correct

(b) That none of the Directors of the company has been convicted by any court of law

(c) That the company is not bankrupt

(d) That none of the officers of Guri Local Government is a present or former director of the company.

(xiii) Any other relevant information that will help in determining the company’s suitable for the work.

Any prospective bidder that does not possess any of the above documents need not apply

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENT Interested bidders are to collect the tender documents from the Office of the Director Planning Research and Statistics, Guri Local Government, from the date of publication of this advert between the hours of 09:00 and 05:00pm daily after a payment of non-refundable fee of N150,000.00 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only).

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT Technical and financial bids shall be submitted in two different sealed envelopes and labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively with the company’s name indicated at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be placed in a sealed third envelope addressed and delivered to the office of the Director Planning Research and Statistics, Guri Local Government not later than 1 August, 2022 by 12:00 Noon.

All documents for the submission must be transmitted with a forwarding letter duly signed by the company representative under the company’s Letter Headed Paper bearing the CAC Registration Number (RC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.) and e-mail address.

The financial bid should contain a bid security of pot less than 2% of the quoted bid.

The bid validity period should be 120 days from the deadline of the bid submission date.

OPENING OF BIDS Only Technical Bid shall be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12.00 Noon.

GENERAL INFORMATION (i) Bid submitted after the deadline for submission will be returned un-opened;

(ii) Only the financial bids of the successful bidders will be opened, while those for the un-successful bidders will be returned un-opened;

(iii) This advert shall not be construed as commitment on the part of Guri Local Government nor shall it entail a company to make any claim(s) whatsoever and/or to seek any indemnity from the Guri Local Government, Jigawa State by virtue of such company having responded to this advertisement;

(iv) All costs win be borne by the bidders as the Guri Local Government will not be held responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested j party (i.e) in connection with any response to this invitation;

(v) Guri Local Government reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liability

(vi) Alternative bid will not be accepted

(vii) Bidders with the same subsidiary relationship are not allowed to partake in same lot.
