DEADLINE: 1ST MAY, 2021
INSTITUT FRANÇAIS DU NIGÉRIA (IFN)
CALL FOR TENDERS FOR CREATION OF WEBSITE
Founded in 1999, the Institut Français du Nigeria (IFN), a member of the French Institute’s network, is the operator of the linguistic and cultural action of France in Nigeria.
The IFN, under the supervision of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, actively contributes to France’s influential diplomacy in Nigeria. Its projects and programmes take into account local contexts and rely on a unique capacity to deploy through the vast diplomatic network made up of the Cultural Cooperation and Action Service of the French Embassy in Nigeria and French Alliances throughout the country.
Located in Abuja, the administrative capital of the country, the mission of the Institut Français du Nigéria is to promote and disseminate the French language and culture, the Franco-Nigerian cultural cooperation and the promotion of studies in France.
The cultural dissemination mission of the Institut Français du Nigéria aims to promote access to French culture, to encourage Franco-Nigerian cooperation by offering programmes of the best possible level, support Nigerian initiatives to meet their audiences in Nigeria, and even in France. With about fifty events a year, IFN is one of the major venues for broadcasting in Abuja and across the country, thanks to our various partners.
The purpose of the call:
Creation of the website of the Institut Français du Nigéria: development and online of a new website, in accordance with the requirements and needs formulated in the specifications.
SPECIFICATION
The service provider must propose a dossier detailing the orientations of the offer in terms of visual identity, web-design, technical aspects and identified needs.
Note that: this site is primarily intended to enhance and promote all the activities of the Institut Français du Nigéria both in pedagogical terms (courses, exams, training and partnerships) and in cultural terms (events, debates on ideas, international mobility programmes etc…). This portal must be the crossroads of the actions carried out by the IFN in order to guarantee them the best possible visibility, but also a resource hub for our audiences and partners, whether in educational or cultural matters.
Finally, the IFN website must also have a unifying dimension, since the cooperation supported by the IFN is regularly part of a broader framework with initiatives involving other actors in the network – as can be the case in Lagos, Ibadan or Port Harcourt, or institutional or private partners.
Thus the future site will have to respond to a double figuration, asserting itself on the one hand as the site of a cultural center in line with its local environment while developing the network on a Nigerian scale.
