REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR SUPPLY OF FIREFIGHTING VEHICLES

• Yobe State Government, having been committed to the construction or Modern Markets across the State with the aim of boosting the State economic activities, is determined and focused to ensure the construction of functional modern markets within its limited resources for our traders to benefit.
• The Yobe State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism has created an enabling environment for eligible interested bidders/vendors to submit tender for the SUPPLY OF FIVE (5) NOS. FIREFIGHTING VEHICLES TO THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED MODERN MARKETS as follows:

DESCRIPTION
Firefighting vehicle, 2,500 litres and above tank capacity, 7-seat, 210PS Fire Engine, 30 NH pump, cable winch driven via auxiliary etc.

(1) The Entity hereby invites sealed Bids from eligible interested    bidders/vendors for the execution of the above described works/supplies:

(2) Interested Bidders are required to provide details satisfying the following eligibility criteria:

• Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria;
• Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) years (2019, 2020 & 2021)
• Company Audited Accounts for three (3) years (2018,2019 & 2020);
• Company’s profile;
• Evidence of Financial Capability including Bank reference letter indicating willingness to provide credit facility if/when necessary and needed.
• Evidence of Registration with Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement.

(3) Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement Guidelines (Procurement of Goods, Works and related Services) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders/vendors may obtain further information from the Director, Planning, Research & Statistics and collect bidding documents during office hours (0900 to 1500 hours) at Yobe State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, IBB Secretariat Damaturu.

(4) A Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders/vendors upon payment of non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira Only (N50,000.00).

(5) Bids must be delivered to Yobe State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Damaturu on or before 6 May, 2022.

(6) Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the vendors/bidder’s designated representatives at Yobe State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, IBB Secretariat Damaturu by 12:00 noon.
