INVITATION TO TENDER FOR 2022 CAPITAL PROJECTS
1.0 PREAMBLE:
The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria(COREN) is a statutory body established by Decree No, 55 of 1970, amendment by Decree No.27 of 1992, and now Engineers (Registration, etc) Act CAP E11, 2004 which was further amended by the Engineer (Registration, etc) (Amended) Act No.3,2018. In a bid to enhance COREN activities of coordination around the States of the Federation, we hereby invite reputable Companies, to tender for COREN Projects which we intend to execute for 2022 Capital Projects.
2.0 AREA FOR TENDERS
LOT 1: Construction of perimeter fence with gate house at Maiduguri, Borno State.
Lot 2: Construction of perimeter fence with gate house and construction and equipping of COREN State Office main building and External Civil Works in Ibadan, Oyo State.
LOT 3: Construction of perimeter fence with gate house and construction and equipping of COREN State Office main building and External Civil Works in Jos, Plateau State.
3.0 TENDER REQUIREMENTS
i. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years viz 2019, 2020 and 2021 (Expiring December 2021)
iii. Value Added Tax Registration Certificate
iv. Company Profile indicating key personnel with years of relevant experience
v. Verifiable evidence of financial capability to execute the job/render the service
vi.
vii. Verifiable evidence of similar works successfully completed within the last three years, attaching photocopies of award letter
viii. Letter of attestation from a reputable Bank.
ix. Evidence of certificate of Compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004 issued by PENCOM
x. Evidence of Certificate of compliance with Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
xi. Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurement Data Base of contractors, consultants and service providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR) as provided (expiring on 31/12/2021) in part Il section 5 (h) of PPA 2007
xii. Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act 2011 and payment of training contributions to ITF in compliance with section 6 (2) of the Industrial Training Fund Act.
xiii. “Verifiable evidence of audited accounts for the past three (3) years viz 2019, 2020 and 2021
xiv. Verifiable evidence of Registration with COREN.
4.0 TENDER INSTRUCTIONS
Interested Bidders shall obtain Tender Bidding documents from the Procurement Unit, COREN Headquarters upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Hundred Thousand Naira only (N100,000.00) via COREN TSA Account
5.0 SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Tender documents should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and must be submitted to:The Procurement Unit Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). No. 22 Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.
6.0 SUBMISSION CLOSING DATE AND TIME
Between 10:00a.m to 4:00p.m within 2 weeks from the date of this publication. Closing date for the submission of application is 1st September, 2022 by 12 noon
7.0 OPENING DATE AND TIME
Application will be opened immediately after the closing date by 12 noon at COREN COUNCIL CHAMBER, 22, Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.
NOTE: The “TENDER’ shall not be a commitment on the part of COREN. It shall not entitle the tenderer to make any claims whatsoever or seek for any remedy/indemnity from COREN by virtue of such tender having responded to this advert. Late submission will not be accepted. Submission should be very clear on the areas of specialization and LOT(S) of interest within 2 weeks of the advert placement.
Each Bidder is only entitled to a single Tender/Lot.
