INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION WORKS
(A) INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS
Kwara state Government has allocated fund to the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Ilorin for:
LOT 1: The Construction of 2 Blocks of 2 Classrooms, Dining Hall, Modern Open kitchen, 2 Blocks of 2 units Toilet Compartment and provision of 2Nos. Motorized Boreholes Plastic tanks, steel stand and reticulation at proposed Federal Government Science and Technical college, Gwanara in Baruten Local Government Area.
LOT 2: The renovation of a block of 2 Classrooms, rehabilitation of Block of 2classrooms with stores/offices, construction of 2 blocks of 2 units each Toilets compartment and provision of motorized boreholes, plastic tank, steel stand and reticulation at Government Unity Secondary School, Obbo Aiyegunle in Ekiti local government area.
Accordingly, the ministry wishes to invite interested competent and reputable contractor/companies to bid for the procurement of the project.
(B) BIDDING CRITERIA
ALL interested capable and competent contractors are required to serially submit the following:
(i) Evidence of registration with the corporate affairs commission (CAC)
(ii) Evidence of registration/renewal with the Kwara state public procurement agency
(iii) Registration with the ITF
(iv) Registration with the PENCOM
(v) Registration with the NSITF
(vi) Evidence of last three years Tax Clearance (2019, 2020 & 2021)
(vii) Company’s audition reports for the last three years (2019, 2020 &2021)
(viii) Vat registration and Remittances
(ix) Evidence of financial capability and Banking Support
(x) List of Plants/Machineries and equipment with the evidence of ownership or lease
(xi) Key Personnel with photocopies of their certificate (academic, Professional Registration & Experience)
(xii) Previous similar projects executed and knowledge of the company (award & completion letter)
(c) COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The tender document should be collected from the Office of the Tender Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender’s fee.
(D) SUBMISSION/OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Two copies of the technical and financial bids must be in separate envelopes and clearly marked appropriately in a larger envelope. Each page must be duly signed and be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name of the Tender to be addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Ilorin Submission should be made on or before 12:00 noon of Tuesday 13 December, 2022 in which technical and financial opening will be carried out immediately at the Conference Room of the Headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Ilorin.

(ii) The Ministry reserves any right to reject any/or all bidding packages.
