REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) FOR PROCUREMENT OF TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY-EIGHT (298) MOTORCYCLES (200) A-X 100 MODEL AND 98 ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES COVERING 100KM ON FULL BATTERY CHARGE)

(1) INTRODUCTION
To enhance mobility, efficiency and outreach capacity of agricultural extension personnel through the provision of durable and fuel- efficient machine and electric motorcycles; the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Kano State wish to call on all eligible and interested companies to apply for the supply of motorcycles as indicated below:

(2) Submission of pre-qualification documents: Interested companies/ suppliers should submit the following pre-qualified documents to the Office of the DPR&S/Secretary SMTB (Ministry of Agriculture & Natural Resources headquarters, No. 2 Bida Road, off Post Office Road, Civic Center, Kano on or before 12 May, 2025 not later than 12:00noon.

(3) The requirements for pre-qualification are:

(i) Evidence of experience as a prime contractor/supplier on at least one project within last 5yrs

(ii) Memorandum and Article of Association (Name of Directors with their addresses)

(iii) Have a project manager of between 3-5 years experiences;

(iv) Organizational structure and names of key personnel with copies of CVs & certificates;

(v) Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission

(vi) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) for the last 3 years;

(vii) Annual Turnover and audited statement of account of the company for last 3 years;

(viii) VAT registration, Evidence of Past VAT remittances & Tax Identification Number (TIN);

(ix) Evidence for settlement of withholding taxes due to the State;

(x) Evidence of Registration with Due Process Bureau & Kano State Works Reg. Board

(4) Important Notice:
(i) Late submission of pre-qualification documents will not be entertained

(ii) Only companies/suppliers that are adjudged successful in the pre-qualification screening exercise shall be invited to collect tender documents upon payment of non-refundable fee of N 100,000.00 payable to the Account Section of the Ministry.

(iii) Application for expression of interest accompanied by the above listed documents should be forwarded in appropriately sealed envelopes boldly marked at the Top left corner: Expression of Interest (pre-qualification) for the Supply of Two hundred and Ninety-Eight (298) motorcycles)

(iv) This advertisement will not be a commitment on the part of Kano State Government, nor shall it entail that those that submitted documents could make claim (s) whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from Kano State Government or its State Ministry of Agriculture of this publication.
